The watercolour
painting holidays for 2010 are Brittany, the Lake District and Pembrokeshire.
As usual, the number of places on the holiday is strictly controlled
to a maximum of 12 and it is therefore recommended that you book early
to avoid disappointment. I try to keep the amount of walking to a
minimum and most of the venues have about one or two hundred yards
but there may be times it could be a little further (max half a mile),
please let me know if this would be a problem. If you have no materials
do not worry, you can hire materials for the week from me at £5/person/week.
If you are new to painting out of doors, I will tailor your tuition
to your needs and show you things like perspective, colour mixing
and the key measure.

If you wish you can choose your own accommodation...
if you would prefer you can choose your own accommodation, bed and breakfast, hotel or caravan. It will be up to you to settle your own bill at the end of the day whatever type of accommodation you choose or if you use the accommodation that we supply for the others, doing it this way you will see that there are no hidden charges for the accommodation .
Payments for the holidays...
A non-refundable deposit of £50 will be required on booking the holiday and the remainder paid one week before we go. Don't worry about materials we take lots of materials with us that you can use, buy or hire.
The first holiday of 2010 is in Brittany...
The first holiday of 2010 is in Brittany at Allineuc , the date been Sun 9th - 16th May 2010. Allineuc is 50 miles from Saint-Malo port and Dinard airport . The accommodation is at http://www.allineuc.com/ and Brian Evans, who owns the accommodation, will pick up from the airport and transport to the accommodation. Also during the holiday Brian will supply the transport and so on arriving in Brittany the transport is taken care of, and that includes going out for evening meals.
Ryan air do flights from all over the UK to Dinard, and the holiday will run from Sunday to Sunday, Wednesday will be a day off from painting and the chance to catch up on a little bit of shopping, again Brian taking you on a sightseeing trip on the north coast of Brittany.On the Sunday of arrival we will be having a buffet at the accommodation giving us all a chance to meet and get to know each other. On our last night , Saturday night, we will enjoy a barbecue put on by Brian at the accommodation.
Brian also has a number of pitches for caravans or motorhomes and will have the full use of all facilities in the Manoir and will also be transported with the rest of the group for an evening meal. Click here to go to booking form.
The second holiday is The Lake District...
The second holiday in 2010 is in the Lake District . The accommodation is yet to be fixed. The date will be the 21st to the 25th of June 2010. The venues will include Langdale Pike, Ashness bridge, Thirlmere, Grange and Hawkshead. Click here to go to booking form.
The last holiday of 2010 is in Pembrokeshire....
The last holiday of the year is at Pembrokeshire between 16th and 20th of August 2010 and will be based at Nolton Haven and the accommodation will be at the Mariners at Nolton Haven.The venues will include Marloes Beach, Nolton haven, Lydstep, Cresswell Quay and Porthgain.
